Let’s begin.

Specialized sex, intimacy, and identity therapeutic services.

You’re in the right place

Therapy is a unique experience for every individual. For some, the choice to find a therapist comes in moments of hardship or crisis. For others, it comes as an easy decision filled with curiosity. Wherever you are in your self-development, I’d like to meet you there.

Your goals are central to our work together, and together we will craft a treatment plan that meeds your needs at a pace that feels safe and accessible. Not sure where to start? No problem - that’s a great place to begin.

Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.

Virtual and In-Person Therapy

Whether your preference is face-to-face in an office or from the comfort of your own home, I offer both. Virtual therapy is available for Oregon clients, and my office in Bend is a space for any Oregonian who wishes to connect in person.

Intimacy and Sex Therapy

Intimacy and sex are not the same, but we often include them in the same breath of vulnerability. Sex and intimacy therapy may serve clients experiencing emotional distress with their sex life, physical discomfort during sexual play, desire discrepancy in partnership, shame, navigating kink/BDSM relationships, sexual trauma, erectile variability, and more.

Attachment-based Therapy

Attachment theory posits that caregiver patterns of attachment in childhood condition our behavioral patterns in emotional attachments throughout the lifespan. As an attachment-oriented therapist, I often look at patterns in interpersonal relationships as a guiding light for our work.

Attachment can apply to so many individual therapeutic goals - whether you are struggling with your identity, connections, purpose, communication skills, depression, anxiety, codependency, or something else, together we can work to heal and repair the patterns that may be limiting a sense of peace.

Partnership and Couples Therapy

While “couples” therapy is the common vernacular, the word can erase partnerships of more than two or of a different orientation. I work with monogamous and non-monogamous couples and partnerships to enhance communication skills, reconnect, safely navigate conflict, and cultivate intimacy. Emotion-focused therapy (EFT) is at the heart of my partnership work.

In addition to romantic partnerships, I also provide relational therapy for other relationship configurations (such as co-parents or friendship).

FAQS

  • Yes! I am able to take a variety of insurance providers, including: Aetna, BlueCross and Blue Shield, Cigna, First Choice, Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and Pacific Source. If you do not see your insurance listed or are uninsured, please reach out for self-pay options.

  • I currently work with adults of all ages and youth 14+.

  • Great question! A therapist is usually one of a few different credentials: social worker, counselor, or marriage and family therapist. Each has their own graduate degree and licensing board. A CSWA is a pre-licensed clinical social worker; it is the first step to becoming an LCSW, or state-licensed social worker.

As a clinical social worker, I focus on systems at all levels - micro, mezzo, and macro. I’m passionate about social change and macro-level policy, but my practice focuses on the micro-level individual. Of course, all individuals are impacted by social systems at large, so it becomes one big systems theory-oriented approach to clinical work.
