Hi, I’m Sarah

Welcome in - I’m so glad you’re here.

My fundamental approach to healing lies in the power of connection. Prior to receiving my Master’s of Social Work at the University of Denver, I worked in experiential and outdoor education as a trip leader and guide for six years. For weeks at a time, I facilitated meaningful outdoor adventures for teenagers and university students in order to foster opportunities for social-emotional growth.

Over time, that passion for personal development lead me to pursue my MSW. During my academic studies, I devoted my curriculum to another world that had always captivated my interest - sex, intimacy, and identity. Today I work as a therapist with a specialty in these three areas, informed by my history as an interpersonal-oriented guide.

I feel deeply lucky to do the work I’m able to do, and it is a privilege to be with others in their own journey of self-discovery, self-growth, and self-acceptance.

To love well is the task in all meaningful relationships, not just romantic bonds.

To engage in the therapeutic process is an act of curiosity, compassion, and self-knowing.

My approach to the therapeutic journey of one of compassionate curiosity in the pursuit of self-understanding. It is easy to shame, judge, and layer on social narratives that fail to support the individuality of being. Together we will move at a pace that is accessible, safe, and appropriate to examine elements in your life in order to develop more aligned ways of moving through the world. Your treatment goals are at the center of our work together, and a client-driven approach is central to my practice.
